This will enable you to offer a long term and stable gaming experience to users who have connected to the server. ![]() Players who are playing with four players or more should definitely consider the “7 Days to Die” dedicated server software and the dedicated hardware. As soon as you shut down your device or quit 7 Days to Die, the server will be offline for all players. Also, it is worth noting that the server only runs when you are running the session. However, this option is only recommended if you want to play the game with a group of people. This is advantageous as you don’t have to buy or rent additional hardware. ![]() These game sessions, which can be private or public, run directly on your device. So they wouldn't be allowed to push an update to the game per Sony's and Microsoft's OWN RULES.ĭo some basic research next time instead of talking out your rear.“7 Days to Die” has a built-in feature for hosting multiplayer adventures over the Internet. There is no way in hell an a15 save game will port into a19 (let alone when the game goes gold next year). One of those rules is that you are not allowed to push a patch of any kind that BREAKS save games. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: You also should look up the publishing rules REQUIRED by Microsoft and Sony. And yes its all Telltales fault for mismanaging their company and going bankrupt. The current gen consoles don't have the horespower to run a19 that much stuff has changed. They don't have the resources to develop both side by side. Not that the developers will care about someone like me, they have my money (three times infact as I own it on pc, ps4 and xbox) and I am sure that my future non purchases will make not a scrap of a difference to them, but its the only option open to me to express my displeasure. The game is ok on pc, not being able to play with mates and the god awful pc skill system are balanced out by the far better map design. What makes it worse is as i read the statement you linked I cheered when it said they had the rights back, this was awesome news, it meant the wait was nearly over. ![]() TFP has got the rights back and made the decission to abandon the console version with a vague suggestion that the console version may get to re-buy the game when they have done update the pc users. Originally posted by SylenThunder:Well to be fair, the one who actually screwed you over was TellTale, not TFP. Sad thing is I will likely re-buy the game so i can play with my mates but I will endevour not to buy any other games from "The Fun Pimps" Existing customers given the middle finger and told they will need to wait for the pc version to be finished and then re-buy the game. An updated version would sell well (with a good discount for existing customers it would sell even better) There is a distinct lack of content like 7 days to die on consoles, and that shrinks even further when you look at multiplayer. ![]() Not saying its easy but its not exactly an excuse. Given the engine is Unity porting is not as much of an issue as a custom engine either. if they had the money to port originally and now have the assets back then they are not having to remake the wheel. It is good to see they acknowledge that there is so many of us waiting for them to actually update the game, blaming telltale games and the cost for not proceeding though is not good. If I read that right it will not be an update but an entirely new game that we have to re-buy. So we have to wait for the game to finish on pc. Thank you, that does answer the question.
